On January 1, 2017, the Law on Accounting, Reporting and Auditing came into force, according to which the use of International Financial Accounting Standards (IFRS) is mandatory in accounting and financial accounting.
Based on the agreement between the Accounting, Reporting and Auditing Supervision Service of Georgia, the Federation of Professional Accountants and Auditors of Georgia (FPA) and the International Financial Reporting Standards Foundation (IFRS Foundation), IFRS standards translated into Georgian by the FPA have become available to interested parties.
